(map) in South India. Pudukottai is the nearest town. Trichirapalli is our nearest big city.

How to get
to ISSI:
By air: Fly to
Chennai International
Airport. You have to travel by road
or train from here to get to ISSI. See
below for further details.
Distances (1 m = 1.6 km): Chennai to Pudukottai town = 372 kms, Chennai to Trichirapalli = 320 kms,
Trichirapalli to Pudukottai = 52 kms, Pudukottai to Kepparai (ISSI Campus) = 5 kms
By road: Volunteers/visitors can reach Pudukottai town from Chennai by bus. Many buses are available
from Chennai to Pudukottai and Trichirapalli. Journey time: 7-8 hours.
By train: Many trains are available for Trichirapalli and Pudukottai from Chennai. Journey time: 6-7 hours.
But it is better to come to Trichirapalli by bus and then catch a bus to Pudukottai, which is available
every five minutes. Journey time: 1 hour.
Our campus is situated in Kepparai between Pudukottai town and Alangudi main road. You can reach our
campus by auto rickshaw from Pudukottai bus station/railway station. Auto fare is 60 rupees (US$1.5)
only. If you give us a call at the above numbers from Pudukottai, we will come pick you up.
